An “on truck” exhibition of Emerson's PlantWeb and Wireless technology was carried out during the last few months all over Central and Eastern Europe, providing a direct experience of the demonstrated equipment.
Kaminco Process Management joined in the organization of the successful event in Greece, and the large truck with three operational “cacti” stopped at Hellenic Petroleum Aspropyrgos and Thessaloniki premises, where visitors from the refineries and from neighboring industries had the chance to see the equipment and listen to the explanations of Emerson delegates and Kaminco personnel.
The presentation aimed at giving the opportunity to our industrial customers to learn about the plant operational benefits that can be achieved through improved automation and better asset management. It was a live demonstration of today's Emerson PlantWeb and Wireless technology, including "Smart Wireless", "Digital Plant", "DeltaV" & "SIS".
As it was expected, Emerson's "Smart Wireless" stole the show, attracting the visitors' attention with its “stress-free wireless solutions”, and generating new sales inquiries.
On June 17, 2008 the demonstration took place at Hellenic Petroleum Aspropyrgos Refinery premises.
The visitors were welcomed by Sotirios Kaminis, Kaminco Process Management General Director and Fotini Eleftheriadou, KPM Marketing Manager.
The demonstration was carried out by Colin Reeder, Emerson Process Systems Director for Central & Eastern Europe, Claudius Ambrosch, Emerson Global Project Pursuit Director for Eastern Europe and Jürgen Harwalik, Emerson Training Manager.
