Kaminco Process Management SA, a leader in industrial process automation in the Greek market, participated in this year's FETEC exhibition showing off its cutting edge line of process automation solutions.

FETEC 2005, the first Greek exhibition about factory equipment, opened its gates of the exhibition from the 21st to 24th of October at the Mediterranean Exhibition Center, in Athens-Peania. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and of the Federation of Greek Industries, the exhibitors included products and services operating in the sectors of Automation, Movement, Industrial networks, Energy, Material Treatment, Cutting, Welding, Security, and Subcontracting.

With a dominating presence, Kaminco displayed a range of products and solutions targeting the industrial automation world, and centralized around the PlantWeb ® field-based architecture approach supplied by Emerson. The above included the DeltaV ™ control system networked to Micro Motion® Coriolis flowmeters, Rosemount® temperature and pressure measurement transmitters, Fisher® control valves, and other intelligent field devices. Within the DeltaV system, the AMS Device Manager software delivers information from device diagnostics to enable plant personnel to predict issues and take remedial action before they interrupt plant operations. Another DeltaV product, DeltaV Tune, quickly and easily tunes PID and Fuzzy control blocks, and simulates the process response to recommended tuning.

At the Fetec exhibition, Kaminco displayed the SAAB Rosemount Tank Gauging solutions.
The Saab Rosemount Tank Gauging System is a world leader in tank management, with non-contact, reliable and maintenance-free radar level gauges. Since the spring of 2001, Saab Rosemount officially became a company within Emerson Process Management.
The Tank Gauging System includes level, temperature, pressure, mass, volume and water interface detection for a wide range of applications.
The Tank Control products are designed and produced for storage tank gauging with a wide range of on-shore application possibilities.
During Fetec 2005 Saab Rosemount Tank Gauging showed the Saab Tankradar Rex and the Saab Tankradar Pro.

TankRadar ® Rex is designed for refineries, tank terminals and the petrochemical industry. It is the accurate system for custody transfer, process control, inventory control or for filling a tank without the risk of overflow.
TankRadar Rex measures levels to a precision of ± 0.5 mm, can emulate level gauges from other manufacturers and be fully integrated into existing systems.
The TankRadar Rex gauge is available with a wide range of antennas for different applications. Electronics and housing are the same for all 3900-series gauge types.
TankRadar ® PRO is used for the accurate level and volume measurement in refineries and tank terminals.

TankRadar Pro with its advanced signal processing is suitable for both stand-alone applications and large-scale plant installations.
The TankRadar Pro gauge is available in four versions for various requirements: Lite, Standard, Gold and Platinum.
There are also additional software modules to be used together with the gauges in order to optimize signal processing for different applications and to improve accuracy: Echofixer, FHAST™ and MET™. For the Gold version, these software modules are standard.

Complementing Kaminco's experience in tank applications, Scanjet Tankcleaning produces a range of tank cleaning machines to match any marine or industrial demand for an efficient and environmentally friendly installation. Scanjet is a company within Emerson Process Management.
During FETEC, Scanjet Tankcleaning together with KAMINCO, displayed the newest developed industrial tank cleaning equipment with a great interest shown from the visitors at the exhibition. The products showed during the exhibition were; SC 40R, SC 30T, SC 15TWR and SC Turbocip.

The SC 40R model is normally fixed installed in a tank where there is a need of more frequent cleaning, the robot gives 360° coverage and creates a criss-cross pattern covering all area inside the tank/vessel.

The SC 30T model is often used in tanks where there are a large build up of dirt/sediments in the bottom of the tanks. Tthe one nozzle concept gives a very high cleaning impact that dissolves all kinds of sediments.

The SC 15TWR model can be used as a fixed installed robot or as a portable unit to be moved around between different tanks when there is a need for cleaning.

The SC Turbocip is a small rotating nozzle head that is used for CIP (Clean In Place) installations in smaller tanks/vessels/barrels etc.
